The return of Gaga should be unbeatable. Well it wasn’t. Despite the fact that Gaga tweeted the link to buy Applause many times, despite the fact that she posted a playlist of the Applause video repeated for 9 hours to cheat the system, despite the fact that she opened the VMAs only a few days after the video came out, and despite all the promo ARTPOP got from iTunes through the iTunes “Swinefest” Festival, not only didn’t Applause beat Roar on the Billboard charts, but now it seems that the new released Roar’s video views are already catching up to Gaga’s, since in only 3 days it has almost half as many views as Applause has in 3 weeks. In fact, in its two first days of release, the video for Roar had more views than the Applause video had on its first four days of release. Interesting huh? Here’s what went down on twitter:
If I had to make a dictionary with pictures, you know what I’d put next to the word “douchebag”? Tweets by little monsters.
Research shows 2 out of 5 people will get cancer once in their lifetime. It also shows that for 1 out of 7 people who will get cancer, this will be their cause of death. As if that’s not horrifying enough, 10 out of 10 active people on twitter have to suffer reading little monster’s tweets. And yes, they do talk about cancer, in the most horrible way you can imagine.
Let me start by my favorite
brainless dumbshit little monster Sergio. Here’s what he tweeted:
OK, I get it, he has an opinion and I respect it. I actually agree with him on this one. I always considered it hypocritical of people to tweet and act sad about deaths just because the person who died was in the same fanbase as them when thousands of other people die the same day and barely anyone cares.
But here’s when shit gets real:
If you were on twitter yesterday, you probably saw the heated exchange between Perez Hilton & Gaga’s make-up artist Tara. What started it all was a tweet from Perez about the Born This Way Ball.
Is the guy is douchebag? Yes. Annoying and ugly as fuck? You bet. But that tweet wasn’t even shady. Sure he’s had his little twitter catfights with Gaga fans before, but you won’t believe the hate he received just for reporting something everyone knows and has made headlines on Examiner and Huffington Post: that Gaga’s tour is tanking. Check for yourselves:
As you may have heard, the Grammy Awards 2013 Nominations were announced. After Gaga was totally snubbed at the Grammys 2012, the VMAs, the EMAs and the most recent AMAs, monsters HAD to do something to feel better about their Queen, so they tried to make "#BieberGotNoGrammyNomsLOL" a trending topic on twitter, mocking Justin Bieber for not getting nominated for anything this year:
This is Gaga on the littlemonsters.com chatroom:
Seeing the shitstorm that came right after it, I collected a few “Don’t hate on poor Gaga” tweets, followed by some extra tweets coming from the same monsters, once again pointing out their hypocricy:
The VMAs 2012 were the first VMAs after 3 years where Gaga wasn’t attending. So, she sat on twitter and posted her thoughts on the event, the performances, the award winners, etc. Nothing special. Until one tweet in particular made the fans go “WTF”:
and the judgement-free race started wondering, who was Gaga laughing at? Katy? Rihanna? Katy AND Rihanna? After the awards ended, Gaga solved the “mystery” on littlemonsters.com…
